I was allowed to choose two pairs from the Ardell line. I decided to go for an everyday pair, and a more dramatic one to cover both ends of the spectrum. As you can see from the title of this post, today I'll be reviewing the Baby Wispies, as I have not found an occasion to be extra and wear the more dramatic pair (Double Up Demi Wispies).
As most of my fellow Chinese/Asian people know, the struggle is very real when it comes to our lashes, they're short, sparse, and stick straight. So there's definitely no harm in giving them a little temporary spruce up for a few hours.
At most, this is the best my stumpy lashes can look with the help of 3 different mascaras, time, and effort to really coat through each lash to make sure they hold their own. As you can see from the selfies below, you can barely see them, they only just about peek over my eyelid crease.

Let me just start of with saying I'm terrible at applying lashes, it's always a battle to say the least and I have to add an extra 30mins to my glam routine if I want to fit them in.. thank goodness this is a blog and not YouTube so I don't have to demonstrate how much of a fail I am, but I'm sure it would be a funny watch for you guys 😭
As I was quite rushed on the day of wearing the Baby Wispies, I sadly didn't have time to take any photos of them while they were still pristine in the box, and before I regrettably cut them a bit shorter than necessary. But I kept the cuttings so I'll just glue it on my eyes when I next use them hahaha...

I've always struggled to find lashes where the length of them doesn't make me look like I'm about to flutter my eyes and suddenly take off into the skies. Everything I could ever want in a natural looking pair of lashes are exhibited in these Baby Wispies, they really suit my eye shape and I love how soft and fluttery they look. My friend commented on them that they looked really good on me, and could pass as if they were my actual lashes if I made the effort but better!
My only reason for not giving it 5/5 is that the lashes don't look even. On one lash, the hairs are shorter on the outer edges and gets longer as it gradually meets in the middle, whereas the other lash, it's longer on one side and shorter on the other so it's more like a wing shape, you can sort of see it in the photo above too. I'm not mad at it though as it's only ever so slightly, you don't really notice it once on the eyes. But I suppose because of that reason it made me mess up when trimming them to fit my eyes better.
I'm ever so sorry for the terrible quality in these photos, it was quite late. I was rushed in the morning and didn't have time to take better photos!
Comfort/feel: 💛💛💛💛💛
I wore these lashes from about 11am till 10pm that day, stuffing my face at the Manchester Christmas Markets, and even with my rubbish job at applying them on they were still really comfy! My eyes tend to get irritated easy, but I was in the clear with these 😃. They're also super lightweight, I could barely feel them on and they did not make my eyes feel heavy at all, or else I would have ended up taking them off if they were heavy as I was super tired by the 5pm mark.

I'd buy these lashes again and again and again! I love them! As someone who still hasn't mastered the arts of applying lashes, I feel like you can't really go wrong with them.
